DECIDING WHICH MEMBERSHIP SUITS YOU:
The easiest way of thinking about this is to think of the membership fee as if it were a payment towards each of the free hours you receive with each tier.
Using the table below you can see the representative rate (*) you receive for each rental for each size studio.
For example, if you mostly rent small studios, ICON membership gives you a $20/hr rate for the first four hours ($80 membership fee divided by 4 free hrs = $20/hr) and then $19.50/hr for each additional hour after.

How do I make bookings?
The same way as before. Either call, fill out the booking rental request form or request upon walk-in (Based on availability)
What about studio cancellations?
The Membership program operates with the same cancellation policy as for other renters (see below). If you are canceling your studio booking, remember that your “free” studio time must be used by the end of the current month.
Can I upgrade/downgrade my account?
Yes, upgrades/downgrades can be requested prior to the end of business (10pm weekdays, 8pm Sunday) on the 14th of each month. The change will begin on the first of the coming month. Please email membership@openjarstudios.com to change your membership level.
Can I pause my membership?
Yes, you may pause your membership prior to the end of business (10pm weekdays, 8pm Sunday) on the 14th of each month. You will maintain active membership status for the remainder of the calendar month, and the pause will go into effect starting on the 1st of the following month. There are no refunds for late requests to pause a membership. Please email membership@openjarstudios.com to request a membership pause.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes, you may cancel your membership any time prior to the end of business (10pm weekdays, 8pm Sunday) on the 14th of the month. Your membership will remain active until the end of the current month, and deactivate on the 1st of the following month. There are no refunds for the current month. Cancellations must be requested by emailing membership@openjarstudios.com.

• When you sign up for membership from the 1st -14th of the month, you will first be charged a prorated rate for that month. Then, your automatic monthly charge for the upcoming month will happen on the 15th. Two separate charges for your first and second month.
• When you sign up for membership from the 15th of the month to the end of the month, you will be charged the prorated rate for that month & the automatic monthly charge for the upcoming month. One charge for both your first and second month.
• After your first month, you will be automatically charged on the 15th of the month for the next month.

You can book studios by either calling the booking desk, filling out the rental request booking form or walk-in. Our system will automatically calculate the use of free studio space and/or the applicable discount.
The free studio options are detailed in your membership profile and are a choice of one of the offers or a combination of the offers. See “Monthly Free Studio Tracker” image at the bottom of the page below.
What about cancellations?
The same studio cancellation policy exists. If you are canceling your free studio time, remember that the free studio time must be used by the end of the current period.

ICON Members get 35% discount for MEDIUM and LARGE studios on Day-of Bookings.
ENSEMBLE & STAR Members get 5% Discount on LARGE studios for Day-of Bookings.
Non-members get a 5% Discount on Small, Medium, and Large studios for Day-of bookings.
This cannot be combined with other deals.

CHANGES/CANCELLATIONS FOR HOURLY/DAILY STUDIO BOOKINGS
Our standard cancellation policy applies to all reservations (free to members, or paid)
If the Booking is made on the same day of the Booking Period, no cancellation is permitted.
If the Booking Period is 2 hours or less in duration, then notification of cancellation must be given at least 48 hours in advance of the commencement of the Booking Period.
If the Booking Period is more than 2 hours but less than 6 hours in duration, then notification of cancellation must be given at least 72 hours in advance of the commencement of the Booking Period.
If the Booking Period is 6 hours or more in duration, then notification of cancellation must be given at least 1 week in advance of the commencement of the Booking Period.
ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE MADE VIA EMAIL OR PHONE CALL WITH RECEIVED WRITTEN CONFIRMATION FROM STUDIO ADMINISTRATOR. ALL PHONE CALL REQUESTS MUST BE MADE DURING BUSINESS HOURS. VOICEMAIL NOTICE IS NOT SUFFICIENT.
*Management reserves the right to retain any deposits, or choose not to refund or issue a credit the client if the cancellation policy is not followed. The client will be charged the full amount of the rental, if cancellation occurs after appropriate deadline. All invoices will be charged to the card on file the day prior to the start of the booking period. All cancellations must be done by email or phone during business hours.

* Please note: “Free Studio” time is calculated on a point system and not on time (hours, or fractions of hours).
Terms and Conditions: Discounts cannot be combined with other deals/discounts/bundles of rooms. Bookings are based on availability and availability is not guaranteed. Free studio space must be used during calendar month, does not rollover into following month. We reserve the right to move your booking to another studio of similar size.
